This ultra-slim green LED strip is made for decorative lighting in compact electronics projects, models and robotics where ordinary LED tape is too wide. At only 2.5mm wide and 1mm thick, it can fit into narrow channels, small frames and other tight installations.
The strip has 60 SMD 0805 LEDs distributed along a 1 metre length and runs from a 5V supply, making it suitable for use with controller boards such as FireBeetle and Arduino. The flexible construction helps it follow curved surfaces or compact layouts for custom lighting effects.
Each LED segment can be cut individually, so you can trim the strip to suit miniature models, DIY light boards, smart cars or other embedded lighting builds. The package includes one 5V flexible green LED strip.
Features:

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
- SMD 0805
- SMD 0805 is a small surface-mount component package size, commonly used for tiny LEDs and other parts soldered directly onto a circuit board or flexible strip. It matters because this package helps explain why the strip can be very narrow and fit into tight spaces.
