This compact COB LED strip provides smooth purple illumination for decorative lighting, creative electronics builds and small-space accent lighting. It integrates 16 LEDs under a silicone-encapsulated surface, helping protect the LED chips while producing a more continuous output than typical dotted LED strips.
The strip runs from a simple 5V DC supply, making it suitable for low-voltage projects, USB-powered lighting setups, portable battery builds and DIY installations. Its chip-on-board construction gives bright, shadow-free light for cabinets, shelves, stairs, display areas and other confined indoor spaces.
Solderable connections allow the strip to be wired in series or parallel, so multiple strips can be combined for custom layouts. For long-term use, attach the LED strip to an aluminium plate or heat-dissipating surface to reduce heat build-up and help prevent light decay or LED bead burnout. The pack includes one 5V COB LED strip light and one heat sink.
