Fully insulated 4mm banana sockets that drop into a 12mm panel hole and sit just 2mm proud of the surface, so the front of a bench supply, breakout panel or test rig ends up looking finished rather than bristling with hardware.
They take standard insulated 4mm banana plugs, and each socket terminates in a solder tag on the back — no crimp tool, no special die. Five colours in the range means power, ground and signal lines can be told apart at a glance on a crowded panel, which is the whole reason colour-coded sockets exist.

- breakout
- A breakout board carries a small or fine-pitched component and brings its connections out to standard, breadboard- and header-friendly pins. Describing a part as a breakout means it can be wired into a project without soldering directly to the component's tiny contacts.
