40-pin ZIF socket
100 units available with a short lead time.
A 40-pin Zero Insertion Force (ZIF) socket for DIP chips up to 0.6″ wide. The lever-operated mechanism allows chips to be inserted and removed without bending pins, making it ideal for chip programmers, testing, and applications where ICs need to be swapped frequently.
Lift the lever to open the socket, drop the chip in, then push the lever down to lock it in place. The gold-plated contacts ensure reliable connections over many insertion cycles. Fits into existing 40-pin 0.6″ DIP sockets or PCB footprints.
