This compact stereo amplifier module from DFRobot features a 2.54mm pin pitch for easy breadboard and embedded use. It delivers 3W per channel with left and right stereo output, and includes a shutdown (SHDN) pin for switching between working and sleep modes.
By default, the module is in working mode when the SHDN pin is unconnected. Pulling SHDN low (0V) puts the amplifier into sleep mode, while pulling it high (5V) enables working mode — making it easy to control power consumption from a microcontroller.
Key Features
- Stereo Output – Independent left and right audio channels
- 2.54mm Pin Pitch – Breadboard-friendly for easy prototyping
- Sleep/Wake Control – SHDN pin for low-power sleep mode
- Compact Module – Small form factor for embedded applications
- No Programming Required – Works directly with passive speakers
Specifications
- Output Power – 3W + 3W
- Pin Pitch – 2.54mm
- Power Supply – Up to 5.5V DC max
- Sleep Mode – SHDN pin low (0V) = sleep, high (5V) = active
