Adding to an existing order
Q. I'd like to add more items to my order — how do I do that?
A. In most cases you don't need to place a second order, and you don't need a coupon code. If we haven't charged your card yet, you can add items to your existing order yourself.
Orders are held on an authorisation rather than charged when they contain items we're bringing in from a supplier, and purchase-order and bank-transfer orders aren't charged up front either. On any of those:
- Sign in and open the order on your Orders page.
- Click Add Items, then shop as usual — your extras join the existing order when you check out.
- You're charged shipping once, not twice.
If your card was charged at checkout (which is what happens when everything was in stock), the Add Items button won't be there. Reply to your order confirmation email instead and we'll add the items for you and sort out the difference.
