For a class — buy the classroom pack
Crack the Code Arduino with Crack the Code Shield and Case
1 pack = 21 complete kits (board, Crack the Code shield, case & USB cable each). One pack covers up to 21 students; 2 packs (42 kits) cover a class of ~30 with spares.
$956.49/ pack of 21 ≈ $45.55 per kit
Single kit — sample, top-ups & replacements
Single Crack the Code Arduino with Crack the Code Shield and Case

One Crack the Code Arduino kit per student — a Little Bird Arduino R3 board, the Crack the Code (ThinkerShield) board, a storage case and a USB A-to-B cable. Everything needed for the four PRP activities and the design project; the shield's on-board LEDs, button, potentiometer, LDR and buzzer mean students can start coding without first wiring a circuit. Also the part to re-order for replacements.

About the kit
Every student needs a Crack the Code Arduino kit — an Arduino-compatible Uno board, the MAAS ThinkerShield (with on-board LEDs, a button, a potentiometer, an LDR and a piezo buzzer), a USB cable and a project case. The ThinkerShield means students can start coding inputs and outputs without first wiring a circuit; for the final builds we add LEDs, 220 Ω resistors, jumper leads, breadboards, push buttons, piezo buzzers, an LDR, copper tape and battery holders.
