Keep a multimeter close at hand with this auto-ranging, wrist-worn tester. The soft silicone strap lets you wear it while checking hobby electronics, and the integrated test leads stay attached to the meter.
Its backlit display shows measurements including AC/DC voltage, resistance, frequency and room temperature. A continuity buzzer, data hold function and auto-power off add convenience, while the built-in battery recharges via USB Type-C.
Safety note: This is not a wristwatch and does not tell time. It has no formal safety CAT rating or PTC protection, so it is not suited to heavy industrial or high-energy mains electrical work.
Specifications:
- Display: 6,000-count digital display with a high-definition backlight.
- Voltage Range: 200 mV to 300 V AC/DC.
- Measurable Items: AC/DC voltage, resistance, continuity buzzer, frequency, and room temperature.
- Power Source: Built-in rechargeable 130 mAh / 3.7V lithium battery charged via USB Type-C.
- Design Features: Integrated/non-removable test leads, soft silicone wrist strap, auto-power off, and data hold function.
Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- auto-ranging
- Auto-ranging means a device automatically selects the right internal measurement scale (range or gain) for the signal it is reading, instead of you choosing it by hand. It appears in instruments and sensors such as multimeters and light or current sensors, and makes them easier to use across widely varying conditions without manual range or gain changes.
- DC
- DC means direct current, where electricity flows in one constant direction, as supplied by batteries, USB ports and many plug-pack power supplies. When a product specifies DC, it runs from a DC supply rather than mains AC, so you need to provide the correct voltage and polarity.
- Type-C
- USB Type-C (USB-C) is a small, reversible USB connector used for charging, power, and data transfer on many modern devices. A Type-C port or plug indicates the cable and charger connection needed to power, charge, or communicate with a device.
- USB Type-C
- USB Type-C is a small, reversible USB connector used for power, data and sometimes video on many modern devices. The connector itself does not guarantee a particular speed or voltage, so check the supported USB version, data rate and whether it carries more than 5V via USB Power Delivery.
