A chrome-plated metal pushbutton with an illuminated red LED ring, designed for panel mounting in a 16 mm hole. The weatherproof design includes a rubber gasket to seal the enclosure against water ingress, making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.
The switch and LED are electrically independent — wire them together or control them separately. The button features three switch contacts (common, normally open, normally closed) and two LED contacts (+ and −). A built-in resistor allows direct connection to 3–6 V without additional components.
Key Features
- 16 mm Panel Mount – Fits panels up to 12.7 mm (½") thick
- Momentary Action – Normally open contact closes when pressed, returns on release
- Red LED Ring – Built-in current-limiting resistor for 3–6 V operation
- Weatherproof – Rubber gasket seals the mounting hole
- Chrome-Plated Metal – Durable, professional appearance
- 3 Switch + 2 LED Contacts – Common, NO, NC for the switch; + and − for the LED
Ideal For
- Control panels and enclosure interfaces
- Robotics and automotive projects
- Outdoor and weatherproof installations

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
