MIC5205 3.3V 150mA Fixed Voltage Regulator

The MIC5205 is an efficient fixed positive linear voltage regulator for providing a regulated 3.3V output at up to 150mA. It is designed for low-noise performance and low dropout operation, with typical dropout voltage of 17 mV at light loads and 165 mV at 150 mA.

It is well suited to hand-held and battery-powered projects, thanks to its low ground current and CMOS or TTL-compatible enable/shutdown control input. In shutdown, power consumption drops nearly to zero, helping extend battery life.

The regulator also includes protection and reliability features such as reversed-battery protection, current limiting and overtemperature shutdown. A reference bypass pin is provided to further improve its already low-noise output performance.
