This 40 × 40 mm thermoelectric cooler (TEC/Peltier module) creates a temperature differential between its two faces — one side heats up while the other cools down. It can be used for active cooling, heating, or even small-scale thermoelectric power generation from a temperature gradient.
The module contains 127 thermocouples and operates at up to 7 A, delivering a maximum cooling capacity of 62.2 W. A heatsink on the hot side is essential to maintain the temperature differential and prevent damage.
