SparkFun IMU Breakout - MPU-9250
Discontinued
The SparkFun MPU-9250 IMU Breakout features a 9-axis MEMS sensor combining a 3-axis gyroscope, 3-axis accelerometer, and 3-axis magnetometer in a compact System in Package (SiP). It pairs the MPU-6500 (gyro + accelerometer) with the AK8963 (magnetometer) and uses 16-bit ADCs across all nine axes for stable, high-resolution motion tracking.
Designed for space-constrained projects, the breakout's PTH pins wrap around the PCB edges. The top row (J1) provides I²C and power for basic operation, the bottom row (J3) adds address, interrupt, and 1.8 V I/O voltage pins, and the inner row (J2) exposes slave I²C connections. Detachable mounting holes can be snapped off for an even smaller footprint.
