The LiitoKala Lii-402 is a four-slot smart charger that supports Li-ion, Ni-MH, and LiFePO4 rechargeable batteries. It automatically identifies Li-ion and Ni-MH battery types, with manual mode selection for LiFePO4 and 3.85 V Li-ion cells. Four LED indicators display charging progress at 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100% for each slot.

Powered via Micro-USB (5 V DC), the charger offers four selectable charging current modes and includes protection against overcharge, over-discharge, short circuit, and reverse polarity.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

LED
A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
Ni-MH battery
A Ni-MH battery is a rechargeable nickel-metal hydride battery, often used as an alternative to disposable alkaline AA cells. It matters because rechargeable cells have a lower voltage per cell, so the product must explicitly support them to work reliably.
