A 12-wire slip ring assembly that allows continuous 360° rotation while maintaining electrical continuity. The gold-plated internal contacts ensure reliable signal and power transfer across all 12 colour-coded wire sets, each capable of carrying up to 2A at 240V AC/DC.
The 22mm diameter housing includes a 44mm flange with mounting holes for easy attachment. The flange is ABS plastic and can be cut or machined to suit your project if needed.
Key Features
- 12 Wire Circuits – Colour-coded 28 AWG wire sets for easy identification

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- AWG
- American Wire Gauge is a numbering system for wire thickness, where a lower number means a thicker wire. The AWG rating matters because thicker wire can usually carry more current with less voltage drop and heating.
- encoder
- A device attached to a motor or shaft that reports movement, such as rotation steps or position. In a pump system, an encoder can help measure or control how much the motor has turned, which affects how repeatable the watering amount can be.
- LED
- A light-emitting diode is a small electronic component that lights up when current flows through it in the correct direction. In this kit, LEDs create the flashing effect, so polarity and correct soldering matter for the project to work.
