A 3 MP camera module built around the SmartSens SC3336 sensor, designed for use with LuckFox Pico series boards. The 1/2.8" CMOS sensor delivers high-sensitivity, high-SNR imaging with strong low-light performance, making it well suited for surveillance, computer vision, and night-time monitoring applications.
The module connects via the MIPI-CSI camera interface and supports RTSP video streaming (compatible with VLC Media Player). An on-board 98.3° wide-angle lens provides a broad field of view with manual focus adjustment.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- MIPI
- MIPI is a high-speed display and camera interface often used inside phones, tablets, and embedded devices. It matters because raw MIPI displays usually need special driver hardware or software support, unlike plug-and-play HDMI screens.
- MIPI-CSI
- A camera interface used on many embedded computer boards to connect compact camera modules directly to the processor. It matters for vision projects because it can handle high-resolution camera data with less overhead than a USB camera.
