RN-52 - Bluetooth Audio Module

The RN-52 from Roving Networks (Microchip) is a compact Bluetooth audio module that delivers high-quality stereo audio streaming in a small, easy-to-integrate package. It combines a Class 2 Bluetooth radio with an embedded DSP, making it ideal for hands-free car audio, media centre control, and wireless 2-channel audio streaming.

The module is controlled via simple ASCII commands over UART and supports multiple Bluetooth profiles including A2DP for audio streaming, AVRCP for playback control, HFP/HSP for hands-free calling, and SPP for serial data.
