This single-port 30W PoE+ injector lets you send power and data to a PoE-enabled Raspberry Pi over one Ethernet cable. It is intended for Raspberry Pi single board computers from the Raspberry Pi 3B+ onwards, excluding the Zero series.

The injector supplies 55V at 550mA and supports 10/100/1000 Mbps data rates, making it suitable for neat networked Pi installations where you want to reduce cabling. The input side accepts data via RJ45, while the output RJ45 carries both data and power.

A power cable is sold separately. You will also need a Raspberry Pi PoE HAT; the source notes this is available for the Raspberry Pi 3B+ and 4 series.

Features:

  • Single-port PoE+: 30W PoE+ injector for PoE-enabled Raspberry Pi boards.
  • One-cable setup: Supplies power and data to the Pi through a single Ethernet cable connection.
  • Raspberry Pi compatibility: Works with all Raspberry Pi single board computers from the 3B+ onward, excluding the Zero series.
  • PoE HAT required: Requires the Raspberry Pi PoE HAT, available for the 3B+ and 4 series.
  • Power cable: Power cable sold separately.

Specifications:

  • Data rates: 10/100/1000 Mbps
  • Input: 100-240Vac
  • Output: 55V, 550mA
  • Input connector: RJ45 (Data)
  • Output connector: RJ45 (Data, Power)

Ideal for tidy Raspberry Pi network projects, remote installations, signage, kiosks and other builds where a single Ethernet run is preferred.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

PoE
Power over Ethernet lets one Ethernet cable carry both network data and electrical power. This is useful when installing a device where running a separate power adaptor would be difficult.
RJ45
The common plug and socket style used for wired Ethernet network cables. If a board has an RJ45 connector, you can usually plug it into standard Ethernet cabling without making a custom connector.
