I am using this on a Raspberry Pi 5 running a headless Chromium kiosk to monitor my home server infrastructure, specifically Grafana dashboards backed by Prometheus and Loki. Got a new pi to replace my 3b. So much better than the old one

One minor issue with the heat sink being compatible with the sata hat, I had to modify the fins but other than that works like a charm

The genuine cooler works well. It's low profile so you can fit hats on top. Allows for overlocking safely.

Very useful to prevent overheating. Definitely reccomend when using Linux

10/10 The RPi 5 active cooler does the trick. Easy to install, just peel of the membrane covering the heat transfer material and position it over the board. Pop the two teflon locking pins home(had to squeeze one with pliers) and then remove the little plastic cap covering the fan connector and insert the connector. Fan is very quiet and almost inaudible. Thanks to Maddy and gang for their usual great service.
