Looks like a great product

Looks like a great product. It came quickly. Online instructions are a little outdated as there is one additional thermal tape piece; but it’s simple to figure out where it should go by looking at the top aluminium piece. Happy customer.

Great little passive cooling device

Applied this to the new Raspberry Pi 4 and it works a treat! No fans to wear out and it does the job. the key chips are connected back to the aluminium heat sink via heat-conductive foam, so the chips should work just fine for most indoor applications, which is my situation.

Great tool!

Reduced CPU temperature by around 20 degrees C

My Raspberry PI 4 in the standard case was seeing CPU temperatures of between 65 and 75 degrees C (and sometimes up to 80 degrees C) which I was concerned about. I recently purchased one of these cases with the aim of moderating the high temperatures. I was pleased to find that the case reduced the operating temperatures by almost 20 degrees, and the CPU temperature now varies between approximately 45 and 55 degrees C. You can find a blog post about my experience with the case here: https://newadventuresinwi-fi.blogspot.com/2020/03/heatsink-case-for-raspberry-pi-4.html

Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminium Alloy Case With Cooling Heatsink

This little item certainly takes the heat out of the Pi4.

Raspberry Pi 4 Aluminium Alloy Case With Cooling Heatsink

The heat sink case is very compact, and well made. It keeps the SoC easily cool enough for normal use, but I have not yet run my PI4 to high CPU usage to check that aspect. Installation is easy with only one caution - the flexible thermal pads used to connect the board components to the raised pads of the heat sink are neither easy to remove from their protection, nor physically robust. Take care, take it slowly and remove the white side carefully. The clear side is easier to remove.
