An M.2 Key-M to PCIe x4 extension cable designed for LattePanda Alpha and Delta single-board computers. This short 100 mm riser cable provides PCIe 3.0 x4 full-speed signal transmission (up to 32 Gbps), allowing you to connect PCIe expansion cards such as NVMe SSDs, network cards, capture cards, and USB adapter cards.
The cable features a low-profile PCB design for clearance around graphics cards and other components, with 1 oz copper traces and gold-plated fingers for reliable conductivity. The PCB connection point is reinforced with a 3 mm gasket and secured with screws for durability.
Key Features
- Interface – M.2 Key-M to PCIe x4
- Bandwidth – PCIe 3.0 x4, up to 32 Gbps
- Cable Length – 100 mm
- Compatibility – LattePanda Alpha & Delta; supports NVMe SSD, network cards, capture cards, USB adapter cards
- Construction – 1 oz copper traces, gold-plated fingers, screw-fastened PCB gasket
- Flexible Cable – Can be bent and folded without affecting performance
- The M.2 interface does not supply 12 V power. Only PCIe cards with their own 12 V power input will operate correctly.
- Ensure correct orientation when inserting — reverse or misaligned insertion may damage the device.
- Performance may vary depending on motherboard signal drive capabilities.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- M.2
- M.2 is a compact edge-connector standard for plugging small modules - such as SSDs, wireless cards or microcontroller modules - into a host board without soldering. The same slot shape can carry different interfaces (for example PCIe, SATA or USB), so keying and the supported module type need to be checked.
- NVMe
- A high-speed storage standard commonly used by modern SSDs. NVMe support matters if you want faster storage for large AI models, video files or operating system images than a typical microSD card can provide.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board (PCB) is a board, usually rigid, with etched copper tracks that connect electronic components together without loose wiring. Components are mounted on the board and signals route between them through the copper layout.
