LV-MaxSonar-EZ4(MB1040)

The MB1040 LV-MaxSonar-EZ4 is a compact ultrasonic range sensor from MaxBotix that provides distance measurements from 15 cm to 645 cm (6" to 254") with 2.5 cm (1") resolution. It features the narrowest beam width of any sensor in the LV-MaxSonar-EZ line, making it best suited for detecting larger objects.

The sensor outputs range data in three formats — analogue voltage, RS232 serial, and pulse width — at a 20 Hz read rate. It operates on 2.5–5.5 V with a low 2.0 mA average current draw, and includes mounting holes for easy installation.
