The LPB40B is a single-point ranging LiDAR sensor based on Direct Time-of-Flight (DToF) technology. It measures distances from 0.05 to 40 m on high-reflectivity targets, with ±5 cm accuracy across the full range. The DToF principle allows stable operation under strong outdoor lighting up to 100 klux, and the adjustable measurement frequency (1–2000 Hz) makes it suitable for high-speed applications.

The sensor features an IP65-rated enclosure with a coated crown glass lens for durability in industrial environments. Built-in protection against reverse connection, overvoltage, and current limitation ensures reliable operation. UART output makes it easy to integrate with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, or other microcontroller platforms.
