KKSB Aluminum Case for Raspberry Pi 5—Built for Makers, by Makers
Meet the ultimate shell for your Pi 5—rugged, stylish, and ready for action! The KKSB Case is crafted from sandblasted black anodized aluminum, delivering top-tier protection, primo heat dissipation, and hacker-chic looks to your next micro-computing project. Whether you’re building an NVMe-powered data grabber, a home automation hub, or just flexing your Pi skills, this enclosure’s got your back (and your sides).
Designed With Hardware Nerds in Mind
  • Sleek and Strong: Precision-machined aluminum, sandblasted and anodized for a matte black finish. Not only does it look cool, but it is cool—keeping your Pi from breaking a sweat.
  • HAT-Ready: Toss on that Official Raspberry Pi M.2 HAT+ or any same-size HAT—there’s room, plus standoffs and stackable headers to get spacing just right.
  • Easy Access: Smart cut-outs give you a direct line to all your Pi’s ports and buttons. There’s even a dedicated interface for a power button!
  • Stay Chill: Generous ventilation slots mean your active cooler has room to breathe, so performance won’t drop when things heat up.
  • Flexible Mounting: Pop it on a wall using the built-in keyholes, or upgrade your setup with official KKSB add-ons—clip it to a DIN rail, prop it on a tripod, or go full VESA (brackets sold separately).
  • Stack Like a Pro: The included 40-pin stackable header and two sets of spacers (long & short) make it a breeze to mount HATs with varying header lengths—no hacky builds or wobbly boards required.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

DIN
As a pin label, DIN stands for 'data in', the input through which a device receives serial data from a controller, as found on SPI displays, LED drivers and other serial modules. DIN can also refer to the German standards body of that name, as in a round multi-pin DIN connector or DIN-rail mounting.
DIN rail
DIN rail is a standard metal mounting rail used inside industrial electrical cabinets. When a product is DIN rail mountable, it can be clipped neatly alongside power supplies, relays and other automation hardware in a panel.
Headers
Rows of connector contacts on a fixed pitch (commonly 2.54 mm) used to link a board to a breadboard, jumper wires, or another board. They come as male pin headers and female socket headers; when a module ships with pre-soldered headers it can be used straight away, whereas bare pads require soldering the pins yourself.
M.2
M.2 is a compact edge-connector standard for plugging small modules - such as SSDs, wireless cards or microcontroller modules - into a host board without soldering. The same slot shape can carry different interfaces (for example PCIe, SATA or USB), so keying and the supported module type need to be checked.
NVMe
A high-speed storage standard commonly used by modern SSDs. NVMe support matters if you want faster storage for large AI models, video files or operating system images than a typical microSD card can provide.
