A 12.3 MP wide-angle camera module for Raspberry Pi featuring the Sony IMX378 sensor and a 190° fisheye lens. It captures high-definition images at 4056×3040 resolution, making it ideal for 360-degree panoramic views, surveillance systems, robotics, and virtual reality applications.
The module connects directly to the Raspberry Pi CSI port and includes two FPC cables (15-pin to 15-pin for Pi 4B, and 15-pin to 22-pin for Pi 5) for plug-and-play setup with no additional hardware required.

Jargon buster
Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- Fisheye lens
- A very wide-angle lens that captures a broad field of view, often with visible curved distortion near the edges. It matters when choosing a camera because it is useful for wide scenes or robotics vision, but less suitable when you need natural-looking straight lines.
- FPC
- FPC stands for flexible printed circuit, a flat flexible cable or connector style often used where space is tight. It matters because this breakout needs the correct pin count and pitch FPC cable to connect reliably to the display or high-speed interface.
- MIPI
- MIPI is a high-speed display and camera interface often used inside phones, tablets, and embedded devices. It matters because raw MIPI displays usually need special driver hardware or software support, unlike plug-and-play HDMI screens.
- PCB
- A printed circuit board is a rigid board with copper tracks that connect electronic parts without loose wires. For this kit, the PCBs also form the airplane shape, so they are both the circuit base and part of the finished model.
