This GPS/GNSS magnetic mount antenna is designed for multi-constellation reception, supporting both GPS and GLONASS satellite systems. The magnetic base allows easy mounting on any metal surface such as a vehicle roof or ground plate, and the 3 m cable with standard SMA connector provides flexible placement options.

When used with a ground plate, this antenna delivers excellent time-to-first-fix (TTFF) and satellites-in-view (SIV) performance for both GPS and GLONASS constellations, making it well suited for RTK and precision positioning applications.

Key Features

  • Multi-Constellation – GPS and GLONASS reception
  • Magnetic Mount – Attaches securely to metal surfaces
  • 3 m Cable – Generous cable length for flexible antenna placement
  • SMA Connector – Standard interface compatible with most GNSS receivers

Specifications

  • Supported Constellations – GPS, GLONASS
  • Connector – SMA (male)
  • Cable Length – 3 m
  • Mount Type – Magnetic base

Ideal For

  • RTK and precision GNSS applications (with a ground plate)
  • Vehicle tracking and fleet management
  • GNSS receiver testing and development
  • Outdoor IoT deployments requiring satellite positioning

Package Contents

  • 1× GPS/GNSS Magnetic Mount Antenna with 3 m SMA cable

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

GLONASS
Russia’s satellite navigation system. A receiver that can also use GLONASS has more satellites to choose from, which can improve positioning reliability when the sky view is partly blocked.
GNSS
GNSS stands for Global Navigation Satellite System, covering positioning systems such as GPS and similar satellite networks. It matters here because high-precision GNSS modules can output lots of serial position data that this product can send wirelessly to a computer or phone.
GPS
The US satellite navigation system used by GNSS receivers to calculate position and time. Support for GPS is important because it is widely available and often used together with other constellations for more reliable positioning.
IoT
Short for Internet of Things, meaning physical devices that connect to networks or the internet to send data or be controlled remotely. It matters if you want projects such as connected sensors, remote controls or classroom data-logging activities.
RTK
Real-Time Kinematic positioning is a GNSS technique that uses correction data from a base station to greatly improve location accuracy. It matters if you need centimetre-level positioning for robotics, mapping, surveying, or tracking rather than ordinary metre-level GPS accuracy.
SMA
A threaded coaxial connector commonly used for antennas. It matters because you need antennas with matching SMA connectors, or suitable adapters, for the LTE and GNSS antenna ports.
