The SPK-6E is a compact, lightweight tri-band helical GNSS antenna supporting L1, L2, and L5 frequencies across GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou constellations. Weighing just 18.1 g with a standard SMA connector, it's designed for aerial, portable, and clear-sky applications.

The antenna includes a compressible O-ring around the base for improved weatherproofing when panel-mounted. It provides a fast, reliable multi-band solution for the latest GNSS platforms, and is also compatible with standard L1-only receivers — though multi-band performance requires a receiver capable of processing L2 and/or L5 signals.

Key Features

  • Tri-Band Reception – L1, L2, and L5 frequencies for high-precision positioning
  • Multi-Constellation – GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, and BeiDou
  • Ultra-Lightweight – Only 18.1 g, ideal for drones and portable equipment
  • SMA Connector – Standard interface for wide compatibility
  • Weatherproof O-Ring – Compressible seal for panel-mount installations
  • Helical Design – Good performance in clear-sky conditions

Specifications

  • Frequency Bands: L1, L2, L5
  • Constellations: GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou
  • Connector: SMA
  • Weight: 18.1 g
  • Model: SPK-6E
Note: To take full advantage of L2/L5 multi-band reception, your GNSS receiver must support these frequencies. This antenna works with standard L1 receivers but will not add multi-band capability to a single-band receiver.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

Galileo
Europe’s satellite navigation system. Galileo support can improve satellite availability and accuracy, especially when combined with GPS and other constellations.
GLONASS
Russia’s satellite navigation system. A receiver that can also use GLONASS has more satellites to choose from, which can improve positioning reliability when the sky view is partly blocked.
GNSS
GNSS stands for Global Navigation Satellite System, covering positioning systems such as GPS and similar satellite networks. It matters here because high-precision GNSS modules can output lots of serial position data that this product can send wirelessly to a computer or phone.
GPS
The US satellite navigation system used by GNSS receivers to calculate position and time. Support for GPS is important because it is widely available and often used together with other constellations for more reliable positioning.
L5
A modern GNSS signal band used by several satellite systems for more accurate and robust positioning. Dual-band receivers that include L5 can often perform better than single-band receivers, especially for RTK and areas with reflected signals.
SMA
A threaded coaxial connector commonly used for antennas. It matters because you need antennas with matching SMA connectors, or suitable adapters, for the LTE and GNSS antenna ports.
