A dual-channel RS485 expansion HAT for Raspberry Pi that provides electrically isolated RS485 communication with built-in protection against lightning, surges, and transient voltage spikes. Each channel uses an isolated transceiver for reliable, interference-resistant data transmission — ideal for industrial IoT, environmental monitoring, and building automation systems.
The HAT uses the CH432T serial chip and TP75176E RS485 transceivers, with 120Ω terminal resistors and 5.08-3P pluggable terminal blocks for easy wiring. TX and RX indicator LEDs show communication activity in real time. Includes mounting hardware for secure attachment to your Raspberry Pi.
