This 100-piece assortment gives you a handy spread of common through-hole diodes for prototyping, repairs and general project builds. It covers small-signal diodes, standard rectifiers, fast-recovery diodes and Schottky types, making it a useful parts-bin staple.
The through-hole format is easy to use on breadboards and perfboard, so you can quickly build or test circuits without hunting for a specific diode. It is suited to electronics prototyping and breadboarding, power supply and rectifier circuits, flyback protection for relays and motors, and keeping common diode types on hand.
Manufacturer datasheets are available for the included diode types. As this pack is sorted manually, quantities of individual types may vary by one or two pieces.
Features:
- 100 Diodes Total: 8 different types in one pack
- Signal to Power: Covers small-signal, standard rectifier, fast-recovery, and Schottky diodes
- Through-Hole: Easy to use on breadboards and perfboard

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.
- 1N4007
- A common general-purpose rectifier diode rated for relatively high reverse voltage. It is often used in power supplies and protection circuits where speed is not critical.
- 1N4148
- A common small-signal switching diode used for low-current electronic signals. It is a good choice for fast signal switching or simple protection tasks, but not for carrying large power currents.
- 1N5399
- A rectifier diode with a higher current rating than small signal diodes and a high reverse-voltage rating. It is suited to general power rectification where the circuit current is above what smaller rectifier diodes can handle.
- 1N5408 diode
- A general-purpose silicon rectifier diode rated for relatively high current (commonly 3 A) and high reverse voltage (commonly 1000 V). It matters when choosing a power-supply or protection diode because its current, voltage rating, package size, and forward voltage drop must suit the circuit.
- 1N5819
- A common Schottky diode with a low voltage drop and modest current rating. It is useful in low-voltage circuits where saving voltage and reducing heat are important.
- 1N5822 diode
- A Schottky rectifier diode rated for relatively high current (commonly 3 A) and low forward voltage drop. It is often used in power supplies, reverse-polarity protection, and solar or battery circuits where lower voltage loss and less heat matter than with a standard silicon diode.
- flyback protection
- A protection method used with coils such as relays, solenoids, and motors to absorb the voltage spike created when the coil is switched off. Adding a diode for flyback protection helps prevent damage to transistors, microcontrollers, or other control electronics.
- FR107 diode
- A fast-recovery rectifier diode commonly rated for about 1 A forward current and 1000 V reverse voltage. It is used to convert or block current in circuits where ordinary rectifier diodes may switch too slowly, such as power supplies, relay flyback paths, and higher-frequency switching circuits.
- FR207 diode
- A 2 A, 1000 V fast-recovery rectifier diode commonly used to let current flow one way while blocking it the other way. Its fast recovery matters in switching power supplies and other circuits where a standard rectifier diode may switch off too slowly and waste power or cause noise.
- rectifier diode
- A diode designed to let current flow mainly in one direction, often used to convert AC into DC or to protect circuits from reverse current. It matters because rectifier diodes are chosen for power handling rather than fast signal switching.
- schottky
- A Schottky diode is a type of diode with a low forward voltage drop and very fast switching. It matters when choosing parts for power protection, voltage regulation, or high-speed circuits because it wastes less power than many standard diodes but usually has higher reverse leakage and lower voltage ratings.
- through-hole
- A mounting style where the component leads pass through holes in a circuit board and are soldered on the other side. Through-hole parts are often easier to handle and solder by hand, which is useful for classroom and hobby projects.
