A fanless aluminium alloy enclosure designed specifically for the LattePanda 3 Delta single board computer. The case acts as a passive heatsink, with the aluminium shell providing excellent thermal conductivity to keep the board cool without any moving parts.

Includes high-quality Shin-Etsu X-23-7921-5 CPU thermal grease and an M.2 SSD thermal silicone pad for optimal heat transfer. Four fan mounting holes on the top cover allow you to add an optional 40mm fan for additional active cooling if needed.

Key Features

  • Passive Cooling Design – Aluminium alloy shell doubles as a heatsink for fanless operation
  • Full Port Access – All external interfaces and GPIO pins remain accessible
  • Optional Fan Mounting – Four holes on the top cover for a 40×40mm fan (32mm hole spacing, M3 screws)
  • Premium Thermal Materials – Includes Shin-Etsu thermal grease and M.2 SSD thermal pad
  • Ultra-Thin Design – Compact 18mm height profile
  • Lightweight and Durable – Reinforced aluminium construction

Specifications

  • Compatible Board – LattePanda 3 Delta
  • Material – Aluminium alloy
  • Dimensions – 125 × 78 × 18mm

Package Contents

  • 1× Aluminium alloy passive cooling case
  • 1× M.2 SSD thermal silicone pad (70 × 18 × 1mm)
  • 1× Thermal grease (1g)
Note: You must remove the LattePanda 3 Delta's pre-installed cooling fan before installing this case. This is a passive cooling case — fan is not included. Avoid direct skin contact with the case during operation as it may become hot.

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

GPIO
General-purpose input/output pins are microcontroller pins you can set in software to read signals, switch devices on and off, or connect to peripherals. The number of GPIO pins matters because it limits how many buttons, LEDs, sensors, and other parts you can wire directly to the board.
M.2
A compact edge-connector format commonly used to plug small modules into a carrier board without soldering. On this product it is the physical connector used by the MicroMod system, so compatibility with the matching processor board is important.
passive heatsink
A heatsink is a piece of metal shaped to draw heat away from a hot component, and passive means it works without a fan. This matters because it can keep a processor cooler and quieter, but the case itself may become hot during use.
thermal grease
A paste placed between a chip and a heatsink to fill tiny air gaps and improve heat transfer. Using it correctly helps the heatsink pull heat away more effectively and can improve stability under load.
