Get precise temperature readings with the ADT7410 High Accuracy I2C Temperature Sensor from Analog Devices. Featuring 16-bit resolution (0.0078°C) and ±0.5°C accuracy, this breakout delivers reliable measurements over a simple I2C connection.

The sensor runs on 2.7V to 5.5V power and logic, with two address pins allowing up to four sensors on a single I2C bus. Interrupt and critical-temperature alert pins are also broken out for threshold-based monitoring. Libraries are available for Arduino and CircuitPython, including Raspberry Pi support via Blinka.

Key Features

  • 16-Bit Temperature Resolution – 0.0078°C per bit for highly detailed readings
  • ±0.5°C Accuracy – Factory-calibrated for reliable measurements
  • I2C Interface – Simple two-wire connection, configurable to 4 addresses
  • Interrupt & Critical Alert Pins – Hardware alerts for temperature thresholds
  • 2.7V to 5.5V Operation – Compatible with 3.3V and 5V logic
  • Arduino & CircuitPython Support – Libraries for microcontrollers and Raspberry Pi

Ideal For

  • Precision environmental monitoring
  • Temperature-critical process control
  • Multi-sensor temperature arrays (up to 4 on one bus)
  • Data logging and scientific measurement

Package Contents

  • 1× ADT7410 Temperature Sensor Breakout Board (assembled and tested)
  • 1× Header strip

Jargon buster

Plain-language definitions for the technical terms used above.

breakout
A breakout is a small circuit board that makes a tiny or hard-to-solder component easier to connect to with standard pins. It matters because this OLED module can be wired into a microcontroller project without needing to solder directly to the display’s fine contacts.
CircuitPython
A beginner-friendly version of Python designed to run directly on microcontroller boards. If a product supports CircuitPython, you can often program it by copying code files onto the board rather than setting up a more complex toolchain.
I2C
I2C is a two-wire communication bus used by many sensors and small modules. It matters because several I2C devices can share the same two wires, but each device needs a compatible address and your controller must support I2C.
