A 1 kg (2.2 lb) spool of 3 mm Silver ABS (acrylonitrile butadiene styrene) filament for 3D printing. Designed for printers that accept 3 mm (2.85 mm) filament, this ABS is a lightweight thermoplastic with good temperature resistance (200–250 °C) that produces strong, durable parts.
ABS is less brittle than PLA and can be sanded smooth or vapour-smoothed with acetone for a glossy finish that also strengthens layer adhesion. Print in a well-ventilated area, as ABS can produce fumes during extrusion.
