About Us
Little Bird Electronics is an Australian supplier of maker and STEM electronics. We stock single-board computers, microcontrollers, sensors, robotics and classroom kits, and ship them from our warehouse in Hornsby, Sydney.
What we sell
Boards and components for people who build things: Raspberry Pi, Arduino, micro:bit, and everything that goes around them — sensors, displays, motors, power, prototyping and tools. Alongside the brands we distribute, we design our own Little Bird boards and classroom kits.

How we ship
We are an online store, not a shopfront — the Hornsby address takes deliveries, not visitors. If everything in your order is already on our shelves it goes out the same business day. If something has to come in from a supplier first, that supplier's dispatch window is published on our lead times page rather than hidden behind a vague estimate. We ship across Australia and to New Zealand.
Schools, universities and government
A large part of what we do is supplying schools, universities, TAFEs and government agencies. We accept purchase orders, offer Net 30 terms to eligible institutions, and quote in the format a finance office expects. What we publish for free
Selling parts is only useful if people can build with them, so much of this site is not a product page:
- Projects — step-by-step builds with wiring, code and a parts list.
- Buying guides — side-by-side comparisons for when you are choosing between parts.
- Calculators — resistor codes, LED current limiting and the rest of the arithmetic.
- Books — full-length technical books, readable online at no cost.
- Help centre — ordering, invoices, returns and payments.
