The XBee XB24-Z7CIT-004 from Digi is a Series 2 wireless module that enables reliable ZigBee mesh networking between microcontrollers, computers, and any device with a serial port. Build complex mesh networks, point-to-point links, or multi-point configurations using the XBee ZB ZigBee mesh firmware.

Series 2 improves on the original with better power output and an enhanced data protocol. This module features a compact PCB antenna for a low-profile, easy-to-integrate design. It is compatible with older Series 2.5 modules when firmware is updated through X-CTU.
