The SparkFun gator:circuit Kit is an all-in-one electronics prototyping kit for the micro:bit. Using alligator clip cables, you can connect sensors, LEDs, buttons, and switches without any soldering — perfect for beginners, students, and educators learning electronics and coding.
The kit includes three ProtoSnap boards (snap-apart accessory boards) and the gator:bit v2.0 carrier board. Each ProtoSnap can be used as a whole or broken apart into individual sensor and actuator boards, giving you a wide range of components to experiment with.
What's in the Kit
- gator:bit v2.0 – Carrier board for micro:bit with alligator-clip-friendly edge connections
- gator:starter ProtoSnap – Temperature sensor, light sensor, and RGB LED
- gator:color ProtoSnap – Two white LEDs, plus red, green, blue, yellow LEDs and a power rail
