LoRa 1W Breakout - 433M30S

Discontinued

The LoRa 1W Breakout is a high-power (30dBm) LoRa transceiver based on the EBYTE 433M30S module and Semtech SX1276 chipset. LoRa is ideal for long-range (kilometres), low-power, and low-data-rate (~500bps) wireless communication. This breakout connects to any platform with SPI and 6 available GPIO pins.

An edge-mount SMA connector lets you attach large 433MHz LoRa antennas for maximum range. The equivalent 915MHz module has achieved over 19km line-of-sight, and the 433MHz frequency should theoretically travel even further. The Arduino RadioLib library and included example sketches make initial setup and advanced protocols (AX.25, Hellschreiber, Morse, RTTY, SSTV) straightforward.

Key Features

  • SX1276 LoRa Transceiver – Long-range, low-power wireless communication
  • 1W (30dBm) Power Amplifier – High transmit power for extended range
  • 433MHz Centre Band – Lower frequency for improved range and obstacle penetration
  • Edge-Mount SMA Connector – Attach external 433MHz antennas
  • SPI Interface – Connect to any microcontroller with SPI and 6 GPIO
  • RadioLib Compatible – Supports multiple protocols via the Arduino RadioLib library
Warning: The 433MHz band is not licence-free in all regions. In the USA, a HAM radio licence is required. In Australia, 433MHz falls within the ISM band but power limits apply. Please check your local regulations before operating.
Note: This is a SparkX experimental product. It is tested but comes with no guarantees.
