The Arduino Zero is a 32-bit development board based on the Atmel SAMD21 microcontroller, featuring an ARM Cortex-M0+ core. It extends the Arduino UNO form factor with significantly more processing power, making it suitable for IoT devices, wearable technology, automation, and robotics projects.
The board includes Atmel's Embedded Debugger (EDBG), providing a full hardware debug interface without additional equipment. EDBG also supports a virtual COM port for programming and traditional Arduino bootloader functionality.
