Arduino Yun- A New Arduino Microcontroller Board

The Arduino Yun combines an ATmega32u4 microcontroller with an Atheros AR9331 Linux processor on a single board. The AR9331 runs a Linux distribution based on OpenWrt (Linino), giving you the power of a networked Linux computer alongside the simplicity of Arduino. The two processors communicate via the Bridge library, enabling Arduino sketches to run shell scripts, access network interfaces, and interact with USB and SD card peripherals.

The board features built-in Ethernet and Wi-Fi, a USB-A host port, micro-SD card slot, and 20 digital I/O pins. Like the Leonardo, the ATmega32u4 has built-in USB communication, allowing the Yun to appear as a mouse, keyboard, or virtual serial port to a connected computer.
