The Arduino USB Host Shield lets you connect USB devices directly to your Arduino board. Based on the MAX3421E USB peripheral/host controller, it supports full-speed USB peripheral and full-/low-speed host operation compliant with USB 2.0. Arduino communicates with the MAX3421E via SPI through the ICSP header.
