Arduino 101 (Genuino)

Discontinued

The Arduino 101 (Genuino) is a development board powered by the Intel Curie module, combining x86 and ARC cores with onboard Bluetooth LE and a 6-axis accelerometer/gyroscope. It maintains the familiar Arduino Uno form factor and pinout while adding wireless connectivity and motion sensing at an entry-level price.

The Intel Curie module contains two cores (x86 Quark and ARC), both clocked at 32MHz. The Quark core runs ViperOS RTOS and assists the Arduino core with demanding tasks. All I/O pins operate at 3.3V but are protected against 5V overvoltage. Designed in collaboration with Intel.

Key Features

  • Intel Curie Module – Dual-core processor (x86 Quark + ARC) at 32MHz
  • Bluetooth Low Energy – Built-in BLE for wireless communication and IoT projects
  • 6-Axis IMU – Onboard accelerometer and gyroscope for motion sensing
  • Uno-Compatible Form Factor – 14 digital I/O pins (4 PWM), 6 analogue inputs
  • 3.3V Logic (5V Tolerant) – All I/O pins protected against 5V overvoltage
  • 196kB Flash / 24kB SRAM – Sufficient memory for BLE and sensor applications
