AM2302 (wired DHT22) temperature-humidity sensor
The AM2302 is the wired version of the popular DHT22 temperature and humidity sensor, housed in a large plastic enclosure with colour-coded lead wires. It uses a capacitive humidity sensor and a thermistor to measure the surrounding air, outputting a digital signal on a single data pin — no analog input pins required.
Simply connect the red wire to 3–5V power, the yellow wire to your data input pin, and the black wire to ground. A built-in 5.1K pull-up resistor between VCC and DATA means no additional external resistors are needed. More precise and accurate than the DHT11, the AM2302 works across a wider temperature and humidity range.
