Adafruit Neon-like NeoPixel Strip - RGBW Warm White - 144 LED/m

Discontinued

The Adafruit Neon-like NeoPixel Strip combines 144 RGBW LEDs per metre with a rounded translucent silicone diffuser that produces a smooth, neon-like glow. Unlike traditional neon, there are no glass tubes, transformers, or gases required — just 5 V power and a single data line to control individually addressable full-colour pixels with a dedicated warm white (3000K) channel.

The solid silicone casing is flexible, durable, and weather-resistant, making it suitable for outdoor projects, cosplay, bike lighting, and festival decorations. The strip can be shortened with wire cutters but cannot be rejoined after cutting.

Key Features

  • 144 RGBW LEDs per Metre – High-density addressable pixels with RGB + 3000K warm white channel
  • Neon-Like Silicone Diffuser – Rounded translucent casing for smooth, even light output
  • 32-Bit Colour – 8-bit PWM per channel across four channels (R, G, B, W)
  • Single-Pin Control – Standard NeoPixel (WS281x) protocol on one data line
  • 5 V Operation – Powered from standard 5 V DC supply
  • Weather-Resistant – Durable silicone casing for outdoor-capable projects
  • JST SM Connectors – 2-pin connectors on each end with separated power wires
  • Cuttable – Shorten with wire cutters (cannot be rejoined)
Tip: Set your NeoPixel driver to RGBW mode (not the default RGB mode). The 4th channel controls the 3000K warm white LED element.

Ideal For

  • Neon-style signage and decorative lighting
  • Cosplay costumes and wearable electronics
  • Bike and vehicle accent lighting
  • Festival and event decorations

Package Contents
