The Adafruit MENTA is a portable, Arduino-compatible kit that fits neatly inside an Altoids-sized mint tin. Based on the popular Boarduino series, the rounded PCB slots directly into the included metal tin, giving you a self-contained project platform with a generous prototyping area for your custom circuitry.
This is an excellent beginner soldering kit with step-by-step assembly instructions suitable for first-time solderers. Once assembled, program it via the Arduino IDE using an FTDI adapter such as the FTDI Friend.
