Adafruit HELLA UNTZtrument! Open-Source 16x8 Grid Controller Kit [White LEDs]
Discontinued
The Adafruit HELLA UNTZtrument is a large, open-source 16×8 button grid controller kit with 128 illuminated buttons. Designed by PaintYourDragon and based on the Adafruit Trellis platform, this DIY kit assembles into a USB MIDI controller that works with any computer and virtually all synthesiser software — no drivers needed.
Powered by an Arduino Leonardo (not included), the controller sends MIDI Note On/Off messages for each button press by default, but can be reprogrammed to send any MIDI command. Since the Leonardo supports USB MIDI, keyboard emulation, and serial communication, the possibilities extend well beyond music into video control, lighting, and interactive installations.
