12mm Diffused Thin Digital RGB LED Pixels (Strand of 25) [WS2801]

Digitally-controllable RGB LED pixels using the WS2801 driver IC, sold as a strand of 25. Each pixel is moulded in weatherproof silicone with four flanges that press-fit into a 12 mm drilled hole in material up to 1.5 mm thick. This "thin" variant has a long, narrow profile — ideal when space behind the mounting surface is limited.

The strand uses a 4-conductor cable: +5V (red), ground (blue), data (yellow), and clock (green). Data shifts from one pixel to the next, so you can cut the strand shorter or chain multiple strands together. Each end has a JST SM 4-pin connector for easy daisy-chaining.
