The XBee Pro XBP24-BZ7UIT-004 is a Series 2 ZigBee mesh networking module from Digi with 50 mW output power and a U.FL antenna connector. Series 2 modules support complex mesh networks based on the XBee ZB ZigBee firmware, enabling reliable serial communication between microcontrollers, computers, and other devices.
The U.FL connector lets you attach an external antenna — ideal when the module is enclosed and the antenna needs to be mounted externally. These modules are hardware-compatible with the older Series 2.5 and will interoperate after a firmware update via X-CTU.
