Gravity: Expansion Shield for Intel Joule
Discontinued
The DFRobot Gravity Expansion Shield adds robotics and IoT development capabilities to the Intel Joule compute module. It provides analogue input support (via an on-board ADS1115 ADC over I²C), switchable 3.3V/5V power voltage, and standard Gravity-series connectors for easy sensor and module integration.
Sized to match the Intel Joule Expansion Board, the shield mounts directly via breakout pins while maintaining full access to all connectors, LED indicators, and buttons on the Joule module and expansion board.
Key Features
- Analogue Input – 8 analogue I/O channels via on-board ADS1115 ADC (I²C)
- Switchable Voltage – 3.3V or 5V selectable module power
- Gravity Compatible – Standard DFRobot Gravity connectors for sensors and modules
- Multiple Interfaces – 8 digital I/O, 4 PWM, 3 I²C, 3 UART, 1 SPI (3 chip selects)
- Power Outputs – 5V, 3.3V, and 1.8V rails available
