This illuminated rotary encoder combines a full-rotation encoder, a built-in red/green LED, and a push-button switch in a single component. Unlike potentiometers, rotary encoders offer unlimited rotation and output gray code, letting you detect both the direction and amount of rotation.
The vertical through-hole mount design makes it easy to integrate into PCB projects, and the built-in LED adds visual feedback directly at the control point.
