As a beginner, we recommend that you use the Raspberry Pi OS, formerly known as Raspbian.

On the official Raspberry Pi website, you can download the Raspberry Pi Imager. Use it to install the Raspberry Pi OS or other operating system to a micro SD card for the Raspberry Pi.
