Neo Trinkey bootloader problem

When I double tap the reset button on brand new Neo Trinkey, the LEDs go red then green indicating boot loader mode, but the TRINKEYBOOT drive (or any other drive) does not show up on the desktop. Tried with Mac Monterey and Mojave.
Arduino is correctly identifying the board.

It is possible that the Neo Trinkey board is not properly connected to the computer. Make sure that the USB cable is securely connected to both the board and the computer, and that the board is powered on. If the USB cable is already connected properly, try a different USB port on the computer, or a different USB cable. Additionally, try a different computer to see if the issue persists.

Marcus SchappiI had that issue too. The board did not have a boot loader.
From memory I installed this boot loader using Arduino software.
