This compact microadapter converts a USB Type-A port into a USB-C socket, letting you connect USB-C cables to older computers, laptops, and hubs that only have USB-A ports. The adapter supports USB 1.1 and USB 2.0 data transfer (no USB 3.0 pins). It provides standard 5 V power at up to 1 A — note that USB-C power delivery negotiation is not supported since the host port lacks that capability.
